Maccabee Track

Our Maccabee track begins with students going into 4th grade, and continues for three years, with students graduating at the end of 6th grade.

Curriculum
At JEL, we value a hands on experiential approach to education. We use innovative and top of the line curricula!

 

Aleph Champ is a color coded Hebrew Reading curriculum that clearly breaks down Hebrew Reading into manageable goals and levels. Students advance to next color levels when certain skills are mastered. Aleph Champ is motivating and fun, and students are individually inspired to advance their knowledge and master Hebrew reading. 

 

Our Jewish Heroes curriculum introduces students to our Jewish Mothers and Fathers as well as many other famous and important Jewish leaders that can be found throughout the Torah. Additionally, this curriculum touches upon Jewish Heroes of today, keeping it relevant and relatable. 

 

Our Jewish Holidays curriculum is hands on, creative, and incorporates the many mitzvot and customs that come along with each holiday.  We explore the traditions of our past, while highlighting how we celebrate today - in our modern world.

 

Our in-depth Living Jewish curriculum explores Jewish prayers and blessings, the Jewish calendar, Jewish History and stages of the Jewish lifecycle. It is accompanied by a beautiful text book and programming that brings the concepts alive and is so engaging, you almost forget you are learning!
